Welcome! I’m Michael Cloke.

I was born and raised in South Wales. United Kingdom. I am an online marketer that specialises in creating online training courses. I teach how to create a premium marketing funnel, digital information product, systems and tools.

My area of speciality is digital business, copy writing, advertising, web design and direct response marketing.

Professional career

  • In 2018 I set-up Michael Cloke, Digital Business (AKA Ideal Client Funnels) – focused on high-ticket, ideal client funnels.

  • In 2005 I joined British Telecommunications Plc working as a Key Account Manager, Global Financial Markets – US Investment Banks. Managing and defending three major accounts with a £70m annual spend.
  • IBM UK Limited in 1996 at their UK Head Office, North Harbour, Portsmouth working as part of the AS/400 (now iSeries) Marketing Team, Software Marketing and IGF. IBM BP, Elite Work Places Limited.
  • I graduated from The University of Glamorgan in 1995 with a BA (Hons) marketing degree.


From an early age, I knew that I wanted to be an entrepreneur. I was never convinced that working for an employer was a good idea and that I wanted to pursue my own dreams and aspirations, not someone else’s. Since leaving school, I have set up and run lot’s of different businesses, but realised that I needed to know more about marketing. I enrolled onto a BA (HONS) Marketing scheme as a mature student and graduated in 1995.Michael Cloke

It was at this point that I was challenged to get a graduate position within a major blue chip company and gain at-least 18 months experience before becoming self-employed again.

In 2001, I was seriously attracted to the web. I was IBM e-commerce certified, but I knew that I didn’t want to pursue a corporate career. I went about creating friendships with successful web marketers and tried to learn as much as possible from them. I bought several online courses and began setting up websites, mini sites and my personal blog.

Since then, I have never looked at any other business opportunity. I have continued to develop both personally and professionally. Web marketing, copy-writing, email marketing and personal branding have been my main area of specialisation.
